The needle is made of surgical grade stainless steel and is securely attached, thereby eliminating worry of the needle popping off. This high quality product also has a protective plunger cap designed to keep the needle sterile during shipping.
Please Note: The higher the gauge, the thinner the needle. For example, a 31 gauge needle is thinner than a 28 gauge needle.

I have given this product 4 stars only because on two occasions I have received defective syringes when purchasing them in the 10 pack and the pack was sealed so the syringes had to be defective when they left the factory. I received one that would not draw and another that had a hook on the tip of the needle, making insertion and removal an extremely painful process. Overall, this is a very good product, in line right behind BD brand. They seem to be extremely sharp making insertion very easy and as painless as possible. They do tend to draw a bit more slowly than other brands like BD but if you aren’t in any hurry, they are a great product. Personally, I mix my order between these and BD brand. It is very convenient that these come in packs of ten needles so that I can mix my order and order only the exact amount I need. The price cannot be beat. At less than $0.20 per syringe, there is no reason to need to have to use a syringe more than once. The price offered here at DS4L is the absolute lowest offered anywhere online and the shipping prices are also some of the very lowest around.
